Our Story
Teshuva Roof Solutions LLC
started with a simple belief: every homeowner deserves a safe, quality roof, no matter the size of their house.
My journey began right here in Hobbs, NM. After college and some time in youth ministry, I spent three years working at a local scrap yard. Coming home every day smelling like oil and fuel wasn't my dream, but it taught me a lot and proved to me that I was never going to be afraid of a little sweat and hard work.
Besides, construction was already in my blood. Growing up, my dad, Hugo Real, ran an interior remodeling business. Back when my brothers and I were still in school and playing baseball, Dad would "voluntell" us to help him do the grunt work. We rarely went willingly and complained plenty, but looking back, those long hours shaped me into the hardworking family man I am today for my wife and my five kids.
The Turning Point
Ready for a change, my college best friend convinced me to try door-to-door roof sales with him. I’m naturally an introvert, so pushing myself to knock on doors and talk to strangers wasn't easy. But I grew into it, found my confidence, and realized how much I loved helping people.
Then we hit a roadblock. Our boss at the time started refusing smaller jobs—anything under 20 squares—claiming they weren't profitable enough. As a driven young salesman working on commission only to provide for my new family, that really bothered me. I wasn’t about to let someone cut me short on the deals I worked hard to get, and it didn't feel right to walk away from homeowners who genuinely needed help.
So, my friend and I put our heads together and stepped out in faith. He brought the strategy, I brought the hands-on hustle, and we launched Teshuva Roof Solutions. We built our company on biblical principles, low overhead, and a mission to serve the "little guy"—the families with smaller homes who just needed honest, affordable roof work.
Where We Are Today
A decade later, through plenty of diligence, faith, and perseverance, Teshuva Roof Solutions LLC has grown into a business I am incredibly proud of. My favorite thing to hear from our clients—and we hear it often—is, "I just had a good gut feeling about you and your company."
While my best bud has since transitioned to a different career path, leaving me with full ownership, this business is still entirely supported by faith and family. In fact, things have come full circle: my dad and my brothers have officially united their resources and decades of remodeling expertise under our roof.

Hi my name is Hugo and I love these boys. I have worked in Construction and interior remodeling (Smart Concepts Remodeling, Inc.) for over 30 years now. I enjoy family, fishing, baseball, traveling and going to my getaway beach house in Kino Bay, Mexico.
Felix Mejias
Hi my name is Felix, owner of Teshuva Roof Solutions. I’ve been roofing since 2013 and I truly love what I do! My wife and our five kids live in north Gilbert with our two German shepherds, Houz and Ginger. I love playing baseball on a Sunday men's league and coaching my son's little league and daughters volleyball teams. I love roofing and family sports activities, hiking on Sunday mornings and having bible talk.
David Real
Hey I’m David Real and I am stoked to have my baby girl be born soon in October this year! I love playing golf, hiking, and bowling with the guys at our business meet ups at FatCats! Staying organized and sharp in my endeavors is what I do best for my dad, brothers and family.
